Mono-Arm Design: The Fortrex features a beefy extruded, anodized aluminum arm that forms the base of a rock solid trolling motor. The arm features no metal to metal contact and a single hinge point, ensuring years of durible and worry-free operation.
Removable Bowguard 360: Removing the bowguard and motor is simple with Fortrex's removable bowguard feature. Just remove a single cap screw and the guard, shaft and motor come cleanly apart from the mounting surface. Also included is Bowguard 360, a coil based safeguard that protects your motor and shaft from impact. Bowguard 360 breaks away on impact and automatically resets itself. This reduces stress and impact during collisions and ensures your trip isn't cut short by a broken motor.
Lift-Assist: This convenient addition makes it incredibly easy to stow and deploy your Fortrex trolling motor. Very similar to the lift-assist system on many vehicle tailgates, the nitrogen charged gas spring makes your stowing job effortless.
