Recommended for:

How It's Unique
The Riptide Ulterra series is the flagship motor from Minn Kota and a step up from the Riptide Terrova line of motors. Only the Riptide Ulterra line offers Minn Kota's revolutionary new Auto Stow/Deploy and Power Trim technology. Additionally, the Riptide Ulterra comes standard with i-Pilot and is available in 80 or 112 lbs thrust. We recommend the Riptide Terrova trolling motor for fishermen who are looking for a top-shelf motor that is compatible with AutoPilot/CoPilot/i-Pilot/i-Pilot Link accessories but does not need Auto Stow/Deploy and Power Trim. Riptide ST is available in 55, 80 and 112 lb thrust levels.

What's the difference between i-Pilot and i-Pilot Link?
Mounting Details:
This motor is bolted directly to the bow of the boat using the included mounting hardware, and requires drilling into the boat for installation. Ideally, it's best to have access to the underside of the mounting platform in order to secure and fasten the bolting hardware. However, if accessing the underside is impossible you can use no access bolts to secure the motor from the top. For 72" shaft use: RTA-54.

Riptide Ulterra 112 can be wired directly to the batteries, and can also be used in conjunction with a plug and receptacle for a cleaner, more professional installation that's easy to remove. To protect your motor from damage, a circuit breaker is also recommended.
