(Be sure to check for wiring before drilling the hole) Once the hole is drilled, place the port inside of the hole and use the port as a template to mark and drill holes for the 3 mounting screws. Attach the AC power cord fromt he charger to the back of the power port and tighten the 2 top screws that keep the AC power cord in place. This plug completes the installation of an onboard charger. It allows you to simply plug an extension cord into the plug. It comes with a weather flap and is adjustable to fit the thickness of the fiberglass in the area where it is installed. The plug requires one hole be drilled. Once that is completed, the installation couldn't be simpler. The back (interior side) of the plug accepts the male plug from your charger and the adjustable bracket allows you to adjust the male side of the plug ready to accept your extension cord. In my case, it allows you to charge the batteries without having to open the doors to my battery storage area. There is a rubber gasket on the back side of the plug and it is held in place with 3 included stainless screws. It makes for a very professional installation.
