How It's Unique
Like the Minn Kota Terrova, the Ulterra 80 offers Advanced GPS boat control. The difference is Ulterra's automatic stow and deploy plus power trim: raise, lower and adjust motor depth without manually handling the motor at the bow.
The 2027 Ulterra also adds improved Spot-Lock, Draw and Navigate, Follow Mode, Drift Mode and Intelligent Depth Control. These features make it particularly appealing for anglers who fish alone or frequently reposition throughout the day.

Mounting Details:
The Ulterra is a bow-mount motor. Secure the mount to a suitable, reinforced bow platform using the appropriate mounting hardware, following the installation instructions for the exact 2027 model.
For convenient removal, Minn Kota lists the MKA-54 and MKA-87 composite quick-release brackets as compatible with the 2027 Ulterra 80. Compatible aluminum brackets include MKA-91, MKA-93 and MKA-94; the listed reinforcement kit is MKA-59. Check mounting clearance and bracket requirements before ordering.

Motor Voltage and Batteries:
The Ulterra 80 is a 24-volt trolling motor. It requires a suitable 24V battery bank, typically two 12V deep-cycle marine batteries wired in series, or a compatible 24V lithium battery system. Motor Wiring Details:
The motor may be hardwired or connected through an appropriately rated marine plug and receptacle, such as the Minn Kota MKR-28, when compatible with the installation.

Power Lead Length:
