Power Receptacle 50 Amp Full Details
Easy removal and connection of the trolling motor power leads. Ideal for trolling systems that feature a quick-release mount or quick-release plate.
Compatible with all 12, 24, and 36 volt trolling motors that have a 2 wire configuration.
The plug is pre-wired to (2) 8 gauge wires and has pre-installed crimping wire connectors. To attach the receptacle to your battery wires, you will need to strip 1/2" of wire coating off each of the battery wires and insert and crimp the wires into the wire connections. You will also need the MotorGuide Power Plug which is compatible with the MotorGuide power receptacle.
The plug comes standard with 8 gauge wire but can be attached to either 6 or 10 gauge wire. See our rules for extending trolling motor wiring to determine what gauge of wire you need.

20 Lowe Roughneck Custom
I drove to two large outdoor box stores to discover the did not have what I needed. Much easier to search and buy here. I have used this site for several purchases and have had great experiences each time. Product is as expected and works perfectly
Matched up perfectly with plug.

14 FT G3 Guide
Works very well. It came with the wire connectors in place, which was a huge help since wire connectors for 8 gauge wire aren't that easy to find. I was able to mount on the bare face plate of a PVC receptacle box in the very front V of my boat, so it is handy and out of the way. I bought 2 of the Power Plugs to fit into this receptacle, one for the trolling motor and one for my battery charger, so I don't have to pull the battery from the boat to charge it.
