This plug is ideal if you are buying a new trolling motor and want to be able to quickly connect and disconnect the power leads during charging or for simple motor removal without having to unwire the batteries. Made with a standard 1-1/8" mount hole and compatible with 2 or 3 wire, 12, 24, and 36 volt trolling systems using 8 or 10 gauge wire, this plug will work with any trolling motor and fits almost all boats. If you are using 6 gauge wire, you will need the MKR-18A 6 gauge wire adapter that attaches to the back of this receptacle. Additionally, this plug and receptacle has a watertight sealing cap, a corrosion-resistant design, and a turn-locking system that will keep the plug sealed in place and keep water out.

Easy removal and connection of the trolling motor power leads. Ideal for trolling systems that feature a quick-release mount or quick-release plate.
The plug is compatible with all 12, 24, and 36 volt trolling motors that have a 2 or 3 wire configuration and use 8 or 10 gauge wire. If you are using 6 gauge wire, you will need the MKR-18A 6 gauge wire adapter that attaches to the back of the receptacle.
The receptacle installs onto the boat using a standard 1-1/8" hole. The wires that extend from the batteries attach to the rear end of the receptacle and are secured into place by tightening set screws on the receptacle. The power leads from the trolling motor attach to the male end of the plug by pulling off the rubber coating around the plug and securing the wires using set screws that are located on the plug. Please view wiring instructions.
When attaching the plug to the receptacle, you will need to be sure the "insert" arrow on the plug aligns with the arrow on the receptacle. When the parts align, you will plug in the male plug and turn it slightly to the right to lock it into place. Do the opposite to remove the plug.
